The last man on Earth, searching for any other person he can find.
good stuff... love the series. there was a really cool book written back in the late fiftiesI think by Nevil Shute... like the first apcolypse book I ever read... On the Beach. A movie was made of it too. [link]
I remember that book from high school. Or was that Alas Babylon. The idea with this series is this poor man just wakes up one day and everyone's gone, with no explanation. So he wants to solve the mystery as well as try to find people.

Wow, this refined one is really fantastic! What Glass-Iris said - I think your skills are really showing with these!
I know you love pastels a lot, but I think you're able to incorporate much more detail and subtle nuances with these paints than with your pastels.
I love the details you put up, and the car (your car ) looks fantastic and shiny in the sunlight! This is a really incredible painting! ANd with ACRYLICS! What manner of acrylics are you using, and how do you get it to look so nice?
They're Golden acrylics, which are great because they actually paint the color on each tube, so you see what it looks like. Some I use with glazing medium. I'm really not satisfied with how it looks so far, and I know they'd just laugh on conceptart.org
At some point this summer, I'm going to redo most of these using photoshop to paint em. For one thing, these figures are so damn small. I thought it'd be ok with large canvases, but it's really a weak composition. I want to use more foreshortening so you can actually see the figures and their expressions better, while still getting in some background. I need to stop envisioning scenes like I'm there with a camera.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
