I started, but we don't have students till tomorrow. I hope they remember me enough to like me but not so much as to think they can misbehave right on the first day... We'll see. Last week we all came daily and did absolutely nothing. I read a bit, drew a bit, and slept at my desk. This week we'll be forming class lists, schedules, lesson plans, etc.

the Slovaks are treating me very well, though! Iva and I are making plans to build a house this spring! Imagine, after all these years, i'll actually have my own home! We just need half the money to magically appear somehow. Iva's going to try and get a bank loan. We've already got the land to build on, and an architect to draw a plan for us. That, and we have decent jobs. We'll see.

Oh, this year I'm going to try and teach art in English! We'll see by the 11th if I have enough students. I hope so, I've got everything planned out. Excellent new paintings by the way. Post more! More nature, especially. Also, try a portrait, I'd love to see your take on one.
